Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) are stressful or traumatic events in childhood and can include abuse, neglect or household dysfunction such as witnessing domestic violence or abuse. These experiences can have a major impact on an individual’s future health and wellbeing.
This is a one day Awareness of ACES and an introduction to Trauma Informed Practice course aimed at anyone who works with children and or their families in Cheetham Hill or Crumpsall. This course will be delivered by multi agency professionals including social workers, health professionals, education professionals and faith leaders from the Crumpsall and Cheetham Hill.
This training is aimed at anyone who works with residents in Crumpsall or Cheetham Hill. Additional training dates for other areas in Manchester will be available in due course.
