This is a one day Awareness of Signs of Safety course aimed at multi agency professionals who work with children and or their families in Manchester. The course will provide those workers who have not been on any Signs of Safety training to become familiar with the philosophy behind Signs of Safety and an opportunity to use some of the assessment and recording tools as well as understanding how it can be used in your own work with children and families.
This course will be delivered by multi agency professionals including social workers, early help officers and health professionals.
Please do not apply for this course if you are either a Manchester City Council children`s social worker or Manchester City Council early help officer as you will need to complete the specific MCC training course.
