Course Description

The Manchester Safeguarding Board has organised a free day-long conference aimed at front-line practitioners who work with Adults and Children in Manchester.  

The conference will cover themes of:

• Modern Day Slavery
• Criminal Exploitation/Trapped 
• The Complex Safeguarding Hub (including ACT)
• Adult Sexual Exploitation 

Aims

The aim of the event is for front-line practitioners, who work with adults and children in Manchester to gain a better understand of Complex Safeguarding and the picture in Manchester.

Learning Outcomes

• Front line workers to have a better understanding of Complex Safeguarding in Manchester
• Identify individuals at risk of Complex Safeguarding 
• Develop expertise and confidence in dealing with Complex Safeguarding 
• Complete a MSB Action Plan
