As part of the Neglect strategy Manchester City Council has opted to use the Graded Care Profile 2 assessment tool. This training is being targeted at all professionals in all agencies and organisations who work with children and or their families in North Manchester.
Please apply for this course if you work with children and or their families in North Manchester. This training is aimed at practitioners and or their managers who will be using the assessment tool.
For further information please see the NSPCC website link https://www.nspcc.org.uk/services-and-resources/services-for-children-and-families/graded-care-profile
This is a one day training course which will be delivered by the NSPCC. Graded Care Profile 2 (GCP2) helps professionals measure the quality of care being given to a child. It's an assessment tool that helps them to spot anything that's putting that child at risk of harm.
There are 25 places available on this training and lunch will be provided.
Please ensure that your registration details on the Manchester Safeguarding Board training website specifies which areas of the city you work in as we need to ensure that all applicants work in Manchester.
This training will be rolled out across the city and more dates will be added later in the year.
Cut off date for applications has now passed.
